Newton, NH - David Bruce Morgan passed away at the age of 74, on December 20, 2018 due to a long illness. He was born and raised in Beverly. and served in the Army Reserves. He later married his first wife. He obtained a certificate in business from Eastern Nazarene College and was a manager for Service Master for more than 25 years until retiring. He then owned and operated Dave's Sporting goods. He continued his sporting goods retail business working from home online.
In his earlier years he liked spending time with his children playing at the beach and enjoyed motorcycle riding with friends and family. He enjoyed attending church and participating in various events. He enjoyed spending time blueberry picking and going on train rides with his grandchildren.
Some of his other hobbies included collecting items such as stamps, model trains and old coins and he had a passion in creating wood working and leather projects. He also enjoyed bird watching, deer hunting, ice fishing, attending Red Sox games, watching old movies, and listening to Frank Sinatra music. He could whistle beautifully to many songs.
David is survived by his son Jeffrey Morgan, daughter, Laura Troian, son-in-law Chris Troian and five grandchildren. We are rejoicing that he is finally at peace in heaven.
