Haverhill - Virginia (Skofield) Syvinski, 91, of Haverhill, died Wednesday, March 13, at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill, April 8, 1927, daughter of the late Fred and Madeline (Tilton) Skofield, and was educated in the Haverhill school system.
For over 30 years she was employed at the former Hale Hospital for over 30 years from where she retired in the early 1990s.
Mrs. Syvinski was a member of the Groveland Congregational Church.
Her survivors include four daughters, Cheryl Syvinski of Derry, N.H., Ginny Syvinski of Amesbury, Sandy Ranfone of Atkinson, N.H., Deborah Syvinski of Haverhill; a sister, Edith Abbott of Haverhill; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

At her request funeral services will be private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, Haverhill & Bradford.
