Virginia's Story

ANDOVER: Virginia Treloar Heusser, who was 98 years old, died peacefully at the Academy Manor in Andover, on Wednesday July 15, 2015.

Born Virginia May Treloar, on May 7, 1917 in Derby, Ct., to Edward Treloar and Sarah Hession Treloar. After High School, Virginia attended the Sisters of Mercy Saint Agnes Home in West Hartford, Conn., where she earned her certificate as an infant nurse.

In 1960, she and her husband moved to Haverhill, where they became parishioners of the St. James Church.

She was the wife of the late Burton J Heusser who died in 1998. She was the mother of Burton E. Heusser and his wife, Monika of Haverhill, Susan Girard and Jerry Kowaluk of Manchester, Conn., Sara and her husband, Phillip Lanier of Chesapeake, Va. and Arthur Heusser and his wife Joyce of Groton, Mass. Virginia was the loving Oma and Grandma to nine; she also leaves seven great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 23, (TODAY) at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Atkinson Cemetery, Atkinson, N.H. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill & Bradford.
