Stephen "Bud"'s Story
Stephen "Bud" Herook Crago, 89, of Kittery, Maine, and formerly of Kingston, N.H., and Wakefield, died Sunday evening, April 23, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, N.H.
He was the husband of the late Hazel G. (Hamel) Crago who died in 2009 and his survivors include his stepchildren, Garry L. Crago and his wife, Amy of Belmont, Mass., Arthur E. Crago and his wife, Marcia of Falmouth, Dorothy A. Marcotte of Methuen, Virginia M. Roberts and her husband Jack of Reading. He was previously married to the late Phyllis M. (Arthur) Herook and is survived by three daughters, Donna Murtagh and her husband, Robert of Roslindale, Linda Goodwin of Exeter, N.H., and June Herook of Rochester, N.H. Bud had 23 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Saturday morning, May 6, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
