Shirley Sayewich Haverhill, MA - Shirley Sayewich, 95, of Plaistow, N.H., passed away peacefully Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Haverhill Crossings. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Sayewich. Shirley was born in Lawrence August 17, 1923, the daughter of the now late Leo and Gertrude (Donovan) Lacaillade.
She was raised and educated in Andover, Mass., later moving to Plaistow where she resided most of her life. Shirley was a well-known Sales Associate with Cutco Cutlery for over 50 years. She was an incredible saleswoman with a winning personality. Shirley enjoyed cooking, but most especially loved her time with family and friends. She spent her final years at Haverhill Crossings and much enjoyed the care she received and special connections she made there.
Shirley is survived by a small but loving family, including two nieces, Suzanne Hall and husband Gary of Methuen, Mass., and Lynne Pickering and husband James of Danville, N.H.; and one nephew, Matthew Monastesse of Haverhill. She will also be fondly remembered by countless friends. Shirley was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband, Joseph Sayewich.

A funeral service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held Friday, January 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. from The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830. Burial is private. For directions or online condolences, please visit www.GrondinCarnevale.com.

I am so sorry to hear that Shirley has passed. She was a wonderful person, and friend to many of us and she will be greatly missed!!! There was no better people then then shirley and Joe. Sorry we could not attend, but I just saw this in the paper Friday at 11:30 am.

Sue, Lynne and Matthew, I am so sorry to hear that Auntie Shirley has passed away. She was such a kind woman. I remember what a great laugh she had.
