Rosalie L.'s Story
Rosalie L. (DiLeo) Knight-Standard, 74, of Boxford, passed away Thursday, May 26, at Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport.
She was born in Cambridge on May 10, 1942, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Sodi) DiLeo.
Rosalie was educated in the Somerville school system and graduated from Somerville High School.
One of our fondest memories of Rosalie is that she loved going to the beach which meant we had to be on the road by 5 a.m. and home by 10 a.m. before it got crowded.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Maurice Standard; two daughters, Robin and Lisa and their husbands, James Kelley and John Palmieri; two brothers, Francis DiLeo and his wife, Viola and Anthony DiLeo; a sister, Maryann Annese; six grandchildren, Nicole, Trevor, Tyler, James, Jennifer and Christopher, two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Gabriella as well as several nieces and nephews.
She touched many lives, we love her and will miss her dearly.
Her calling hours were held Tuesday at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial followed the calling hours at All Saints Church, Haverhill. Interment was in Boxford Village Cemetery, Boxford.
