Robert N.'s Story
Robert N. Nolin, 75, of Hampton, N.H., died on Saturday afternoon, November 4, 2017, at the Oxford Nursing Home, Haverhill, Mass., after a long illness.
Born in Haverhill, the son of Edward D., Sr. and Helen R. (Cunningham) Nolin, he attended Haverhill Trade School. Mr. Nolin worked as a heavy equipment operator and spent 30 years residing in Florida working as a carpenter. He was a gifted tradesman who enjoyed his work and derived his pride from the quality of his work.
He is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Lynne and James Meehan of Hampton, N.H., Kimberly Bailey of Haverhill, MA and Amanda Flavin of Craigsville, Va.; two sisters, Faith Jendrick and Nancy Leveille, both of Haverhill; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward D., Jr. and Muriel Nolin of Forsyth, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
