GROVELAND: Robert P. Huggan, 79, of Groveland, died Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015 at Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in Boston, October 21, 1935, son of the late Emerson and Hazel (Mahoney) Huggan, and he was also educated there.
He enjoyed horses, NASCAR, camping, time spent on the Cape, and traveling. Mr. Huggan and his wife Carol traveled to 47 states, visiting many National Parks along the way.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carol A. (Venis) Huggan of Groveland; a son, William A. Huggan and his wife, Jennifer A. Rollins of Haverhill; two daughters, Grace M. Marcoux and her husband, Timothy J. of Haverhill, and Elizabeth A. Giampa of Groveland, four grandchildren, Anne V. Marcoux, Scott A. Marcoux, Danielle C. Giampa and Stephanie L. Giampa, two great-grandchildren, Sienna J. Lynch and Graeme M. Lynch and several nieces and nephews.
His calling hours were held on Friday, September 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His funeral service and burial in Linwood Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
