Paul D.'s Story
Paul Dowell Drewett, 52, of Bradford, passed away Saturday at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley.
He was born in Haverhill on September 21, 1964, the son of the late Eleanor (Bakarensky) Drewett and James D. Drewett of Haverhill.
Paul was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School’s Electrical Course June 4, 1983.
Paul became a Mason and a Shriner, and volunteered many hours supporting Shriner’s Hospital for Children and in the occupational therapy department at the hospital.
Mr. Drewett is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dorothy Taylor, his father, James Drewett; a brother, James and his wife Shelley and their son, Tommy Drewett and a sister, Margot all of Haverhill. In addition Paul is survived by his uncle, Ian “Mike” Drewett of Florida, and his best friend since grade school, Joseph McPherson.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Contributions in his memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51, Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114. Arrangements are by the H.L.
