Patricia Sadowski of Palm Coast, Fla., died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 17.
Born to Walter and Veronica Krafton, Pat grew up in Haverhill. After earning top grades at Haverhill HS she was selected to be one of the first female physics students. She married Paul D. Sadowski (CW4,USA ret), and her wisdom and pioneering attitude served her family well in their many relocations. With her positive attitude and loving demeanor she ensured that each place felt like home. She was a devoted wife, frequently volunteering and often raising their four children single-handedly during Paul's deployments. She also managed a career and retired as a tax consultant. Pat relished travel and meeting people from all over the world and was the consummate hostess. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Paul, many family members, including her daughter, Elizabeth; her sons, LTC David (USAF ret), Michael and Andrew; her sister, Martha Krafton, seven grandchildren, (Katherine, Christina, Benjamin, Sarah, Jessica, Rachel and Carter); four great-grandchildren (Adrian, Anthony, Gianna, and Orion) and many good friends. Most importantly, she leaves behind a signature of cherished memories.
A private ceremony will be held at Arlington National cemetery. May she enjoy the choicest beaches of heaven! Acta est fabula, plaudite!
