Patricia A.'s Story
Patricia A (Palen) (Peterson) Green, 78, formerly of Haverhill, Mass., died peacefully at home on July 15, after a long illness.
Born on August 15, 1938, she was the daughter of Joseph and Sophie (Wieczerzak) Palen. She was educated in the Haverhill Public School System and employed for over 30 years with Western Electric/Lucent Technologies in North Andover, Mass.
In addition to her devoted husband, Raymond Green, she is survived by her son, Michael Peterson and his wife, Jill of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; her two granddaughters, Kennedy and Neely Peterson; and one great-grandson, Kameron Humphrey. She is also survived by sisters, Elizabeth Tourville, Kay O'Connor, Frances Welsch; and one brother, Fred Palen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Patty loved to watch Molly B's Polka Party on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. She enjoyed playing games with her granddaughters and in her earlier days played cribbage and gin rummy with friends and family. While still living in Haverhill Patty was a constant figure at her sons softball games at the Haverhill Stadium and traveling around the country.
The family held a private service and ask in lieu of flowers that you donate to your favorite charity in her memory.
