Michael A.'s Story
Michael A. Lynch, 68, of Haverhill, died Thursday morning, July 28, at Hannah Duston Health Care in Haverhill after a brave battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Somerville, January 12, 1948, son of the late Cornelius and Alice P. (Brown) Lynch.
Raised in the Bradford section of Haverhill, Mike attended Sacred Hearts School and graduated from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1965. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State and his Master’s degree from Salem State.
His survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judith (Ray) Lynch of Haverhill, a daughter, Tara R. Lynch of Lowell; a son, Garrett M. Lynch of South Boston, a sister, Mary Lynch of Arlington, Texas; and brother, Kevin Lynch of Clinton, N.Y.
his calling hours were held Sunday at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home. His Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
