NEWTON JUNCTION, NH: Louisa died peacefully with family on May 25, 2015 at Exeter Hospital, Exeter. Born in Haverhill, daughter of Luigi and Julia (Kapella) DiFloures. Louisa was a press operator for many years for One Hour Martenizing in Haverhill, where she met her husband of 52 years, made their home in Newton, N.H. in 1948. Louisa loved to bake, watch old movies, go for rides to the ocean or spend time with her family. Louisa was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Chabot, Sr.; sisters, Helen (DiFloures) Tidd, Nancy (DiFloures) Rembis, Florence (DiFloures) Fogel, Josephine (DiFloures) Matthews and Irene DiFloures. Louisa is survived by four children, Joseph E. Chabot, Jr.; his wife, Patricia of Princeton, West Virginia, Louisa (Chabot) Wolf her husband, Leonard Wolf of Plaistow, Renee Chabot and her fiance, Michael Jaber of Newton Jct, and Stephen Chabot, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service was scheduled for 11 a.m. June 2, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Route 110, Amesbury. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Louisa's name to a charity of your choice.
