Lottie J. "Sugie"'s Story
Lottie J. “Sugie” Gouthier, 73, of Haverhill and formerly of Groveland, died Sunday, January 29, at Seaport Village Healthcare Facility, Ellsworth, Maine.
She was born in Haverhill, April 25, 1943, daughter of the late Arthur F. and Josephine M. (Maguire) Gouthier.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Sugie attended Northern Essex Community College.
She was employed in the local shoe industry, at TELOCA, Groveland, as a Security Guard for Reliable Security and was also a dispatcher for the Merrimac Police Department.
Sugie resided in Groveland until 2009 when she moved to Haverhill.
Her survivors include a sister; Eleanor and her husband Dwayne McAlpine of Waltham, Maine; two brothers; Raymond Gouthier and his wife, Christine of Okahoma, Grover Gouthier and his wife Linda of Livermore, Maine; a cousin, Harry Gouthier of Bradford as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Graveside Service on Saturday, April 8, at 1 a.m. in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland. Arrangements are by the H.L.
