Leslie Brindis, a lifetime resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, September 24, at his home in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Leslie and his wife Anita moved to Arizona two years ago to be with their son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Renee Brindis.
Mr. Brindis was born in Lawrence on August 24, 1924 and was the son of the late Samuel and Edith (Wilner) Brindis.
Leslie was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Bernie, Marvin, and George, and his son, William Brindis.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anita; son, Sam (Renee) of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Bonnie (Kevin) Gilsenan of Manlius, N.Y.; daughter-in-law Genia Brindis of Haverhill, grandchildren, Jason Brindis, Cazz Brindis of Los Angeles, Reed Hollinger of Ft Collins, Colo., Zachary Hollinger of Syracuse, N.Y., Eve Brindis of Portland, Ore., and Jacob Brindis of Haverhill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Graveside Service on Friday, Sept. 30, at 12 p.m. in Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements by H.L.
