BRADFORD: Joseph S. Franzone, 92, of Bradford, died Thursday morning, July 23, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.
His survivors include three daughters, Laura Franzone of Bradford, Valerie Franzone of Amesbury, Karen Milnes of Newmarket, N.H.; a brother, Frank Franzone of Atkinson, N.H., two sisters, Rosalie and her husband, Ralph Gaeta of Stoneham, Irene Shanahan of Haverhill; a daughter-in-law, Darlene (Thompson) Franzone of Methuen, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his longtime friend, Mary Duchemin and her family of Haverhill.
Mr. Franzone was the father of the late Justin “Keith” Franzone and brother of the late Dan Franzone.
His calling hours were held on Sunday, July 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. His funeral was held on Monday, July 27, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
