SALEM, NH: John Meredith Jackson, 79, of Salem, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, died early Wednesday morning, November 4, at his residence.
He was born in Medford, July 30, 1936, son of the late Joseph W. and Ann (Stratton) Jackson.
His survivors include his wife of 19 years, Kathryn M. (Kelley) Girroir-Jackson of Salem, N.H.; two daughters, Evelyn Ann Jackson-Cole of Salem, N.H., Nicole Christine Curcio of Nashua, N.H.; a sister, Joanne Lee Baker of Acton, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Jackson was the husband of the late Shirley Jeanne (Allard) Jackson, who died in 1994.
A visitation period was held on Friday morning, November 6, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment was in the Merrimac Cemetery, West Newbury.
