James "Tyke"'s Story
James “Tyke” Bizios, 89, of Haverhill, died Sunday morning, September 18, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen after a brief illness.
His survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Jane (Denault) Bizios of Haverhill, two cherished daughters; Nancy Debitetto and her husband, Mark of Groveland, Sandra Allen and his son-in-law, Steve Allen of Haverhill, three cherished grandsons, Matthew, Michael and Niko; a brother, T. John "Lakey" Bizios of Windham, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Armeny Bizios of Haverhill and niece, Charla Bizios Stevens and nephew, John Bizios. Tyke was also the brother of the late Hector “Middy” Bizios and Effie Theoharis.
His calling hours were held on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His Funeral Service was held on Wednesday morning, September 21, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Holy Apostles Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Contributions in his memory may be made to Holy Apostles Sts.
