PLAISTOW: Howard F. Driscoll, 91, of Plaistow, N.H., died Sunday, January 10, at his residence.
He was born in Haverhill, May 2, 1924, son of the late Michael A. and Eva (Karelitz) Driscoll.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Howard graduated from St. James High School with the class of 1942.
He was predeceased by his wife, Francesca "Frannie" (Calvalieri) Driscoll and seven siblings.
His survivors include three nephews, Joseph Driscoll and his wife, Judy, Robert Driscoll, Michael Driscoll and his wife, Margie; a niece, Judy Baxter and her husband, Bruce; grandnephews, Matthew, Andrew, Adam Driscoll, Matthew McCarthy and Jeremy Watts; grandnieces, Hannah Driscoll McNally, Erin McCarthy Lynch, Jillian Watts Atstupenas, great-grandniece and great-grandnephew, Shannon and Shawn Lynch; sisters-in-law, Jesselyn Driscoll, Rose Whalen; brother-in-law, Frank Cavalieri; and dear friend, Eleanor Blomquist.
His visitation was Jan. 16, from at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. A Mass of Christian Burial followed in St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, N.H. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
