Elizabeth J.'s Story
Elizabeth “Betty” J. Candage, 81, of Groveland, died Friday evening, October 13, at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill.
She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., December 28, 1935, daughter of the late Vyron and Allie (Lasley) McFadden.
Betty employed as a teacher at the Elmer S. Bagnall School for many years.
In addition to her husband, Arthur C. Candage, she is also predeceased by her brother, Gene A. McFadden and her sister-in-law, Rena (Bridges) Candage.
Her survivors include her son, Gregory A. Candage and his wife Susan; a daughter, Allison M. Candage; two grandchildren, Greer and Colby Candage; a sister-in-law, Jo McFadden; brother-in-law, Bruce Candage and his wife, Faye; brother-in-law, Darryl Candage and his wife, Muriel, five nephews and one niece.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, October 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4:15 p.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
