She could often be found watching sports while cross-stitching, doing hardinger, or knitting. She knitted a special Christmas stocking for every new addition to the family and extended family. These stockings have become a multigenerational tradition. Her beautiful needlework is cherished in the homes of her children, family and friends. Over the years, Ellie was involved with the Assistance League of Tustin. Having moved all over the country during her lifetime, she was proud to have maintained her many long distance friendships over the years.

Ellie cherished her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She appreciated and enjoyed all the wonderful times spent together.
