Dorothy (Bunker)'s Story
Dorothy (Bunker) Benson, 83, formerly of Haverhill, recently of Stoneham, died Friday evening, September 30 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Arthur “Ben” Benson who died in 2015, mother of the late Donald B. Snow, Jr. and Lori Ellen (Snow) Wright, and sister of the late Chester, Earl, Henry, David Bunker and Helen (Bunker) Fowler.
Her survivors include a son, Wayne A. Snow and his wife Cheryle of Haverhill; two daughters, Donna (Snow) Berkowitz and her husband, William of Stoneham, Debra (Snow) Ponte and her husband, Joseph of Londonderry, N.H., 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her calling hours were held on Tuesday, October 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her Funeral Service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
