BOISE, ID: Donald “Don” Bishop, 77, of Florida and most recently Idaho, passed away Wednesday August 12, in Boise.
He was born in Haverhill June 7, 1938 the son of the late Fred and Laura (Rogers) Bishop.
Mr. Bishop was educated in the Haverhill school system. He enlisted into the Air force and served his country for 10 years prior to taking a position at General Electric. While at GE, Don was a production tester on jet engines until his retirement.
Don enjoyed flying and purchased several of his own planes after earning his pilot’s license.
Mr. Bishop was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Bishop, a son, David E. Bishop and a special friend, Ermell “Mel” Temple.
He is survived by his children, Debra Pelletier and her husband, Paul and Daniel Bishop; siblings, Fred Bishop, Carol Bradley and Shirley Sokol, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial was held August 31, in Sacred Hearts Church. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
