HAVERHILL: Constance R. (Meteyer) Smith lived 68 fulfilling years with her adoring family until an unexpected and brief battle with leukemia called her home on October 8, 2015.

Constance “Cookie," the daughter of the late Victor E. and Cecile A. (Ramsey) Meteyer, was born in Dover, N.H. on August 30, 1947.

She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Smith Lee and husband, Chun Lee of Haverhill; her son, Matthew J. Smith and his wife, Jennifer Smith of Appleton, Wis.; her second love, Bruce T. Marshall of Haverhill; sister, Susan Dalby and spouse, R. Spencer Dalby of North Reading; grandchildren, Paxton, Noah and Owen Lee, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her calling hours were held Oct. 13, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Rte. 125) Bradford. Graveside services were privately held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Portsmouth, N.H.
