HAVERHILL: Brian Rawding, 72, of Haverhill, died Friday morning, February 12, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.
He was born in Amesbury, December 6, 1943, son of the late Reginald and Irene (Bouvier) Rawding.
For several years he was employed as a mechanic at Marble Motors, Haverhill, and prior to this was a mechanic at Woodworth Motors, Andover.
He was the husband of the late Patricia (Burke) Rawding who died in 2008 and his survivors include his children, Brian R. Rawding Jr. and his wife Donna of Kingston, N.H., Robert F. Rawding and his wife, Christine of Haverhill, Kristine Rawding and her significant other, Jason Laurent, of Plaistow, N.H., Scott M. Rawding and his wife Jennifer of Derry, N.H.; a brother, Donald Rawding and his wife, Diane of Hampstead, N.H.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a niece and nephews.
Mr. Rawding’s family would like to thank the Merrimack Valley Hospice House for the exceptional care their father received while being a patient there.
His visitation and funeral service were held February 16, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Entombment followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830.
